Using Tokonoma

"Tokonoma" is the name of an honored space in an Asian home. In this area hangs a painting or scroll held in reverence to a special occasion, purpose or season. Although most people do not live in an Asian style home, any wall space can be designated to become a "Tokonoma" to display artwork you will honor. Choose a scroll or painting with an image that captures your personal intention, joy, dream, goal, or memory. Each time you glance at that piece, you will be reminded of your intention and memory which can help manifest possibilities. Refer to it often.
